Life Chain Pics

On Sunday, October 3, we hosted a “Life Chain” along Washington Street in Waukegan.  We held up signs (in English and Spanish) about protecting human life.  Not only were we hoping to send a message to the community but we were also silently praying for our community and country.  Thanks to everyone who participated! Study on “The Shack”

Starting Saturday, October 16, at 5:00 p.m. there will be a new series led by Bill & Linda Walters. It will be a discussion of various aspects of the novel, The Shack, and how these relate with what the Bible teaches us about God. For more information about this event, please contact the church office.

Life Chain 10/3

Sunday, October 3, there will be a “Life Chain” outside, along Washington Street.  This is our chance to stand up for the “protection of human life” in a peaceful, silent way.   As we hold signs (in English and Spanish) which endorse the value of unborn life, we will silently pray for our nation.

G.R.O.W. Classes begin 9/12

Would you describe yourself as a person who is growing?   Or do you sometimes feel like you’re just maintaining, stuck in a rut, or worse yet, going backwards?   Just as God designed the human body (our skin, hair, nails, and cells throughout) to continually grow until the moment of death, the same is true of our minds and spirits.   But growing in our walks with Jesus (our minds and spirits) isn’t easy; it can be painful; and it doesn’t happen…

Parade Pics!

On June 27, Family Life Church had an entry in Waukegan’s Independence Parade.  It was a HUGE success, and we handed out almost 5000 cards with a Gospel message on them. Our entry was almost a block long and included youngsters carrying a banner, baby strollers, worship dancers, the worship team on a float, and a convertible! [nggallery id=2]
