When We Pray Event

Saturday, September 20 is the next When We Pray, a quarterly day of prayer for believers in Lake County.   It will be held at Christian Assembly of God Church in Zion.  Running from 9 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. you are encouraged to come and stay for as long, or little, as you are able. View Larger Map

The 2008 Church Picnic was a huge success!  The facilities were very accommodating to our various interests and everyone had fun getting to know each other better.  Special thanks to Bill & Linda Walters for securing the site, Cecilia DeCillo & Zhalom Lingad for organizing details, and the many others who labored long and hard to make the picnic a smashing success! Walk for Life – CareNet

If you could save a life, would you?  Saturday, September 20, plan to join Care Net Family Resource Center on a Walk for Life.  It will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Christ Community Church (2500 Dowie Memorial Drive in Zion).  Contact the Church Office for details.

CareNet Fundraiser

Eat at Culvers on Tuesday, August 12, and support Care Net.  That’s right — eat at Culvers (Zion or Pleasant Prairie) from 4 – 8:00 p.m. and Care Net will receive 10% of your order.  What an easy way to treat the family plus bless the Care Net Resource Center in Zion!  The two participating Culver locations are Zion (3335 Sheridan Road) and Pleasant Prairie (10484 Corporate Drive).
