Thank you for taking the time to visit our website!  We hope you will be able to visit our church in person.  Whether you are from Chicagoland or Kenosha County or just in town for the weekend, our goal is to make you feel welcome and “at home”!  Our Sunday Morning service starts at 10am, and lasts for around an hour-and-a-half .  During most of the year (September through May), our GROW Program (Sunday School) is available for ages Pre-K through Adult from 9am to 9:45 am.  On Friday evenings, Most Wanted (Youth Group) runs from 7pm to 9pm.  (Click here for service times and directions.)

As Family Life Church is currently in the middle of a major, building-wide, remodeling project, there may be areas that currently seem to need work—they do and we are working on it!  Areas that we are currently working on include the nursery/children’s areas, restrooms, and gymnasium.

WHAT TO WEAR?!

Family Life believes the Church was designed to be a “come as you are” place to worship God.  Therefore, we do not have any kind of dress code or rigid standard for how people are to come and worship.  We only ask that you will come with a hunger for God and an “open heart.”  Some people might dress up in their “Sunday best” while others will be dressed very casually.  It’s really up to you, and whatever you feel most comfortable with.

PARKING

Visitor parking is available in the main parking lot.  If you are driving in from either East or West on Washington Street, you will see “Church Parking” signs posted.  Follow the arrows into the lot, and feel free to use the designated “Visitor Parking” spaces on the left.  Handicapped parking is available directly to the left of the front entrance (on your right as you enter the parking lot).

CHILD CARE

Child care is available during the service for ages Infant-5th Grades.  This program runs during the sermon time (children normally stay with their parents during the worship/song portion of the service), and when the children are released, they meet downstairs in classrooms.  Please note that over the next several months, the nursery area will be undergoing major remodeling, and the location may move from time-to-time to accommodate the construction.  If you are unsure of the location of a certain program, please talk to any usher or staff member.

RESTROOMS

The main restrooms are located in the downstairs section of the building (if you enter from the parking lot, immediately go down the steps and they are located on the left).  As the building is currently going through a major remodeling project, the restrooms may seem to be in less-than-desirable condition.  We sincerely apologize for this, and want you to know they will be improved as soon as we are physically able to do so over the next year.

SECURITY/SAFETY

It is unfortunate, but even churches have been targets for violence.  Therefore, Family Life Church makes reasonable effort to promote a safe and healthy environment for every person on our property during services.  Access to childcare areas is generally limited to parents, children, and church staff members during any time children are in the facility.
